Tour Overview

There’s three peaks in Mt.kilimanjaro, first highest Peak is kibo(5895m) Mawenzi (5400) then Shira plateau (3700) which is located in Western side of mountain kilimanjaro on Londorossi route where by We normally use a gravel rescue road that goes towards the mountain to reach to the top of shira plateau. On this incredible adventure you will witness diversity changes from Mountain forest to Moorland zone while enjoying scenic views from endless plain in masai land and kibo peak that covered with snow on top.

Itinerary

We will start our bike tour in Mount Kilimanjaro From you hotel (transfers from your hotel/lodge can be arranged). Our trip will start with a two hours car transfer to the Londorossi gate on the west side of the Kilimanjaro mountain. From there we will begin the challenging bicycle ride upon the steep road that will take us through green rainforest on the slope of Kilimanjaro.

Then to the moorland zone. Your journey takes you to the Morum picnic site at(3450m)we will have lunch at Morum picnic area and then finish 7km to the shira plateau. Upon arrival at shira plateau we,will take some pictures, enjoying scenic views from kibo peak covered with snow On top and endless Maasai land.

Then will had back down ride on 3700m downhill so hold tight to your bike while enjoying it, Finally the ride will end at the Londorossi gate, from where we will organize a transfer back to the city or your Accommodation place.
